I used to fish in the front of the boat. I let my fishing buddy have the front now. I am fishing in the back. I order the BacRac Ver 2 to get my fishing rods out of the floor where they were a tripping hazard. I did not want to go overboard after a trip and fall. These rod holders are the best. I install them with the rods before I leave home. When I get to the lake , I am ready to go. Next month I will be 78 years old.
